Thanks for checking up on Dominic.  He is doing much better now that the cavity has been taken care of.  He has not complained of any pain since the visit.  Thanks again for your patience with him.  Hopefully we won't need to make any more unplanned visits to see you!

I am writing this to let you know how incredible a dentist you are.  After moving here a few years ago and trying to find a competent dentist, my husband and I received your name through a co-worker of his.  We were first amazed at the friendliness of your staff when making our 1st appointment.  When we came in for our first visit, we were further amazed by the fact we were actually having our teeth cleaned and examined by you personally.  Then after having had gum and jaw pain for going on 2+ years and making several trips back to my previous dentist who had done the original work and being told they couldn’t see any problem and offered NO solution, you realized a misshaped crown might be my problem and fixed it immediately.  Since that day, I have not had any problems with my jaw and my gums feel the best they have in years.

I actually look forward to calling and coming in to see you and your staff, Ginny, Jennifer and Faith.  In this world today, it is wonderful to know there are still people out there who REALLY do care about their patients!

I have been a patient of Dr. Newens for a couple of years now.  I used to have great fear of dentists in general, due to past bad experiences with less than adequate care and poor chairside manner on the part of dentists.  It got so bad at one point that I would faint nearly every time I went to a dental appointment. 

But when I started being treated by Dr. Newens, that all began to change.  He got to know me right away, paying close attention to what I was saying about my fears and coaching me through procedures. 

Dr. Newens showed genuine compassion and interest in my well being and worked with me to get past my anxieties.  Sometimes it was a simple thing like letting me raise my hand when I needed a break just to catch my breath.  Other times it was coaching me to concentrate on my breathing or giving me status checks as he went through procedures so that I would not just sit there and worry myself into panicking.  I realized after awhile that I could trust him to stop when I needed him to and keep me informed as to what he was doing or seeing, so I found that I did not need to stop him as often to gather my courage.  I was not afraid any more.

Dr. Newens' staff is a reflection of his outlook and care.  They are truly kind and thoughtful people who take an interest in their patients and treat them like family.  Other dental offices could take a lesson from this man and his staff.  They are a credit to the profession. 

I never thought I would ever be in the position of saying "I love you people!" as I left the dentist office and really mean it.

Dr. Newens is such a gentle and wonderful person and a Dentist that I look forward to visiting him :) And the Staff is very caring and professional. …I am very sensitive to injections, but when Dr. Newens gave the injections for numbing the tooth area, it was done with such a gentle hand, that I hardly felt it, and I came back home with hardly any pain or discomfort! The Best thing that happens every time I visit them is that I see HAPPY people, taking professional care & caring for my well being
