Dr. Charles Newens is a 1995 graduate of the University of Pacific Dental School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of both the American and California Dental Associations. Dr. Newens served in the U.S. Army in Hawaii for three years as a general dentist. He is constantly attending post graduate courses to improve his clinical skills and techniques. In addition, he serves as a clinical instructor at the Western Career College Dental Hygiene school.

His philosophy and approach to dentistry seek to provide each patient and his or her family with information so that an optimal dental health decision can be made jointly.

Dr. Newens provides quality dentistry in the best interests of his patients, and prides himself on his ability to listen to his patients' needs and fulfull them in a gentle and caring manner.

Dr. Newens is happily married with two daughters, Joanne and Alison. His hobbies include basketball, being a dad and reading.
